Local Ongoing Sea Cadet Events
U.S. Naval Sea Cadets participate in many special events throughout the year, such as the annual Wings Over Houston Air Show, regional Flagship Competitions, military memorial services and Pearl Harbor Day ceremonies at the Battleship Texas near the San Jacinto Monument. In addition, cadets gain seamanship knowledge aboard the USS Cavalla and the USS Stewart in Galveston, along with the opportunity to participate in advanced training on various bases and ships of the Navy and Coast Guard throughout the United States.
