When and Where We Meet

When: We meet (have drills) twice a month on Saturdays usually 8:00am - 4:00pm. The Saturdays are generally the first and third of the month but vary with holidays and availability of facilities. Requested attendance is 75%. Occasionally we have volunteer community service projects that occur on drill and non-drill Saturdays. These are commonly half-day projects and sometimes full-days such as the statewide Beach Clean-Up in Galveston.

Where: We currently don't have a permanent facility so we meet at facilites courtesy of our sponsors, supporters and local military units.  We utilize The VFW Hall in Katy (our sponsor), APEX Hospital just west of Katy Mills Mall and the National Guard Armory on Westheimer Parkway. We notify the cadets in the POM (Plan of the Month) and POD (Plan of the Day) with the upcoming dates and locations of drills. Several of the locations are shown below:
